    PRODUCT INDICATIONS

    TRAUMASTEM is used as an adjunct to stop capillary, venous, small arterial bleeding as well as in the prevention of bleeding in the early post-operative stage.

    ABSORPTION TIME

    TRAUMASTEM is a traumatic and fully biodegradable within 8 days depending on wound characteristics.

    STORAGE REQUIREMENTS

    Store in original packaging, in a dry place at temperatures ranging from 2 to 30 C 

    SHELF LIFE

    TRAUMASTEM has a shelf life of 36 months

    PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS

    • Resorbable haemostatic fibric manufactured from 100% pure cotton made of oxidised cotton cellulose
    • TRAUMASTEM’s fibres are frayed and unorganised which increase surface area and absorbability.
    • TRAUMASTEM demonstrated equivalent bactericidal properties, superior time to haemostasis and superior haemostatic success relative to other product.     
    • TRAUMASTEM Time To Haemostasis is 3.5 minutes
    • At 90 seconds haemostatic success was achieved which is equal to 97.5 %
