PRODUCT INDICATIONS

TRAUMASTEM is used as an adjunct to stop capillary, venous, small arterial bleeding as well as in the prevention of bleeding in the early post-operative stage.

ABSORPTION TIME

TRAUMASTEM is a traumatic and fully biodegradable within 8 days depending on wound characteristics.

STORAGE REQUIREMENTS

Store in original packaging, in a dry place at temperatures ranging from 2 to 30 C

SHELF LIFE

TRAUMASTEM has a shelf life of 36 months

PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS

Resorbable haemostatic fibric manufactured from 100% pure cotton made of oxidised cotton cellulose
TRAUMASTEM’s fibres are frayed and unorganised which increase surface area and absorbability.
TRAUMASTEM demonstrated equivalent bactericidal properties, superior time to haemostasis and superior haemostatic success relative to other product.
TRAUMASTEM Time To Haemostasis is 3.5 minutes
At 90 seconds haemostatic success was achieved which is equal to 97.5 %
