This course will offer participants a detailed understanding in various segments, which are not limited to:

1. Introduction to Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE): Overview of OSHA regulations and standards for RPE, importance of proper use of RPE in the workplace, risks and hazards associated with RPE.
2. Types of RPE and Selection: Understanding the different types of RPE and their uses, identifying the appropriate RPE for specific workplace hazards, assessing the compatibility of RPE with other personal protective equipment.
3. Fit Testing and Maintenance: Conducting fit testing for RPE, understanding the requirements for RPE maintenance and storage, implementing procedures for RPE fit testing and maintenance.
4. Proper Use and Training: Understanding the proper use and care of RPE, training employees on the proper use, care, and maintenance of RPE, communicating the importance of RPE in the workplace.
5. Emergency Response and Respiratory Protection: Developing emergency response plans for respiratory hazards, understanding the requirements for emergency response and respiratory protection, training employees on emergency response procedures and respiratory protection.
