This course will offer participants a detailed understanding in various segments, which are not limited to:

1. Introduction: Overview of the hazards and risks associated with confined spaces, the importance of proper training and safety measures to protect workers when working in confined spaces
2. Regulations and Standards: Overview of OSHA regulations and industry standards for confined space safety, How to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
3. Confined Space Identification and Evaluation: Techniques for identifying and assessing hazards when working in confined spaces, how to conduct a risk assessment and evaluate the level of risk associated with confined spaces, strategies for reducing and controlling risks when working in confined spaces.
4. Permit-Required Confined Space (PRCS): Understanding the OSHA standard for Permit-Required Confined Spaces (PRCS), the procedures for entering and working in PRCS, the responsibilities of the employer and employees for PRCS.
